"because i said so" ever heard of this?

i got that a lot from my parents, and always though what a cop out of an answer... but alas i have uttered those words myself... i hate when my authority gets challenged. i understand why it does, but i sometimes really wish that because i said so didn't even have to be said, it was just understood

Yes, I've certainly heard of "because I said so" and as a mom for 30 years to 4, I've said it quite a few times, too.

Well I hear so many times because I say to my nephews and the kids who come over at my house

way too many times but ive said it more times though than heard it

too many to count and i hate it..kids are never guna learn if they dont know the reason of things...everything happens for a reason and kids need to know it because kids are still guna go against "because i said so"

So many times! I also hate it when they say "because I'm bigger than you." So annoying.
