Of course we all knew what the real scenario was. She needed to "save face" (pun intended). I have to say I blame some of this on the artist. It is not ethical, in my opinion, to do extreme tattooing on someone who has no visible tattooing without at least counseling and insisting on a waiting period- even if it is the next day. Even though 18 is of legal age for tattooing, sometimes young people make very bad choices.

Very well said tatt brat. I also read that the artist said that in the future he will require written consent... Uh... that's something he should already be doing in the first place! And that the girl is going to have most of the stars removed and only leave a few on one part of her face. It just sounds like all-around bad judgment to me. I think anyone here knew the story was a lie the first time we heard it. Too bad so many other people fell for it. I just hope this story teaches people to think long and hard before they get a visible tattoo.

I thought so too. If it was a lie, she wouldn't be able to sleep through that pain. If she had a witness, then it would be a lot more of a charge for paying for the damage. So, she probably thought that fessing up to it was easier to do then getting caught in a lie.

I knew she was lying and I couldn't believe that people actually thought she was the victim! Plus you had people bashing the poor artist mainly because of how he looked.

I was thinking the same thing. How is that possible? But that's sad that she caused all of that trouble.
