He thinks his desires are more important than following the Constituitonal limits on government.

christine... he was a lecturer, not a scholar. And his talks on the Constitution were how it was limited in that it didn't provide for redistribution of wealth. And since you don't need to be a scholar to read the Constitution, why don't you do that and compare it to his new financial regulation scheme, his sellout at the G20, his stimulus bill, his takeover of the auto companies, etc etc etc?

And one certainly doesn't solve debt by entering into more debt faster than any other president in history.

Because he owes a debt to the Wall Street Bankers and the corporate elite. They put him where he is.

@Christine. Go look up the campaign contributions. They are a matter of public record. President Obama received more campaign contribution from Wall Street than any president in history. A debt is owed. You don't seem naive - surely you understand that those contributions were not made merely for the public good, and certainly not because the wall Wall Street crowd subscribes to principles compatible with the Democratic Party.

Health care. His idea of how to address the problem of out of control health care costs are bassackwards. Simply covering millions of people without doing anything to address the root causes of the costs won't resolve anything. It will only build mountains of debt that we can't afford. The issue could more readily be resolved through legislation and regulation without having the government move deeper into the health care business. The failing Medicare and Medicaid systems are living proof that they're not any more efficient at it than the private sector.

Foreign policy. He may want to be buds with the rest of the world, and that's an admirable wish. It is, however, a pipedream. Wanting everyone to play nice and sucking up won't make it so. Jimmy Carter is living proof of that.

He is a spineless socialist who just wants everyone to get along instead of defending our country! North Korea and Iran are bearing down on us and all he does is discontinue the F-22 Raptor, downsize our missile defense program and goes around the world apologizing to everyone saying everything is Americas fault and proclaiming the evils of capitalism!
