Overdue, worried, depressed?
I'm a week overdue with my 4th child, 3rd pregnancy (had twins first time). I am MISERABLE!! I'm in so much pain it feels like my pelvis is cracking in half. I'm 2 cm, but nothing is happening. I have had several times of strong regular painful contractions but then they just ease back up. I don't know why this baby won't just come out!!
My fluid check showed that his fluid levels are low, very close to worrysome levels so I have an induction scheduled Monday, when I will be 10 days overdue.
I know it's only another few days now, but I'm so depressed about this whole thing, I feel like I can't stand waiting any more. In the last week, I have literally tried EVERY stupid old wives tale I can find online that is supposed to bring on labor and nothing works! I wanted so bad to have an unmedicated birth, without a bunch of medical interventions. I'm so afraid I'll end up with a c section. I'm so worried about it, I can't sleep, I keep breaking down crying.
Does anyone have any good stories that will make me feel a little better? I just really need to hear some posotive comments right now to help me ease my worrying a little.
Thanks

PLEASE do not do anything more to try to start labour! Some of the old wives tales are DANGEROUS especially if your fluid is low. Don't worry about the induction. The labour is a little harder than natural just because contractions start off very strong rather than light and getting stronger over time but the labour tends to be much faster. I have been induced and everything went very well.

Just relax try to get some rest it will be okay try taking a warm bath it might make you feel better just try to relax your mind and body the baby will be here, and once you see that baby you know it was worth it

the wait will be worth it in the end! you will no longer be depressed. I know how you feel. you will more than likely not have to have a c-section. (I hope not I did not enjoy mine) dont stress!! your baby is too comfy in there!

Muesli is known as a cereal mix which has easily gained the reputation to have unsuspected benefits. I have read on Project Weight Loss most women suffer from nutritious deficiencies but a glass of milk and a boll of high-fiber cereals per day are enough to recover your balance. You should try it.
