Why do people leave this world specially when they are on the verge of a comeback?

A sense of invincibility.

I think you're reading a little too much into this, taking a few isolated, high profile cases and extrapolating a trend that does not exist.

Fact is hundreds, if not thousands, of washed-up, ex-celebrities die every year without any big planned comebacks. I mean, David Carradine, Ed McMahon, and Farah Fawcett all died in the past month and none of them were on any comeback trails. How do they fit into your notion? Plus, washed-up celebrities are constantly planning comebacks. It's what washed-up celebrities do. They go on reality shows, wrote books, design a handbag line, go on tours. People, celebrities and non, are CONSTANTLY starting new endeavors, jobs, relationships, hobbies, lives, beating addictions, having children, etc. etc. Death virtually always precedes something that might have led to something else. Even Jackson himself has had several tours since his last number 1 hit, none of which significantly revived his career or got him out of impending bankruptcy. There's also no proof that this "comeback" would have led to anything, much less the "old fame and good times." Maybe it would have been a new failure, or a break-even event.

This is a list of hundreds of famous people in some way or another that have died in June alone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recent_deaths) and the vast majority were not on the verge of anything except dying.

I'm not trying to discount Jackson's death or anything, but don't let your grief lead you to see patterns that simply don't exist. It's a very dangerous way of thinking.

If you are a "religious" person then you know that each person is put on this earth for a purpose. Some people know what their purpose is and others never figure it out. Once you have served your purpose on this earth, there isn't a need for you anymore. You have already served that purpose. It isn't something that we should question or try to figure out...it just is. Michael Jackson has done a lot of good things during his lifetime. He made some mistakes as well..as he should have because he was a human being. His purpose on this earth had been fulfilled.

Jacko was 50. I have a feeling he was worried about what this `comeback` would take out of him. He would almost certainly be dosing himself on medications and drugs of various sorts to boost his confidence. He possibly thought he might not be able to get through these coming shows.

This on top of all the other stressful things that happened to him finally did for him, I think.

life is planned out. no one knows anyone's plan except the man upstairs and his counterpart. but when someone passes they pass for a reason. Jacko dying may be a wake up call for other drug abusers. I don't think he died because he was on a comeback, but just that it was someone that needed to pass to change other people's lives and habits.

Cloudy expectations of others and a desire to find redemption of one who was only bespeaks of you partaking in confirmation bias. A goodness within to imagine greatness re-bestowed confirms a compassionate soul, but not truth of the world. You have seen, out of deep sympathy within, a truth that isn't.

Honestly, its their belief that they are immune from the effects of excess. They believe that they are, if not immortal, stronger & better than the average human being. Drug addiction and abuse of their own bodies in the belief that they can withstand excesses that kill the 'average' human.

Pushing themselves over those limits to achieve further fame and accolades.

Maybe god decided that it was his time or god saved him from a tragic event down the road. I've noticed it too. And im not completely sure.

Jacko's a dead pedophile.
