Linguini I would say but from your list, Fettuccine is the most common I see in pasta resturants. However for a wedding the even ravioli, gnocchi, tortelloni. bowties, shells would be better for a formal eating event. At home you can slrup all you want right!

    Haha.

Mastaccioli sounds very classy, but i'd go with the fettuccine or angel hair.

Steer clear from shells tricolor and bowties. Those are kiddy meals, and shouldn't be at a reception.

If it's for a dinner party of some sort, I would stick with the mastaccioli. Fettuccine might be classy too. Depends on the sauce you use. Remember to use a thin sauce for thin pasta such as angel hair, and use a thick sauce for thicker pasta like fettuccine.

If there are going to be young kids around I suggest a big pasta, like bowties or shells, if only for the clean up factor (the strands can be slurped which can lead to the paint brush effect). If its mostly adults and older kids I love angel hair for its versatility. It goes well with red sauce, pesto, or any other sauce.

Well, they are all classy. However, some are harder to eat than others. Angel hair will require a pasta spoon. Fettucini won't. Shells can be really classy, depending upon what you put in them. Just make sure that whatever you pick is easy to eat and doesn't end up on everyone's formal attire.

It seriously depends on what you're serving it with. If it will be baked, go for shells. If it's going with sauteed or steamed veggies, go with bowties or tricolor rotini. If you're using a strong red or meat sauce, mostaccioli is your best bet. If it's a rich creamy or cheese sauce, go with fettuccini. If you're going with garlic and oil or a light creamy sauce, angel hair is where it's at.

Bow ties. Angel hair and fetteccine are kind of messy to eat at a wedding.

Angel hair with a light white sauce.

    Definitely angel hair.

I think angel hair would be the classiest, but my personal fave is tricolour
