Rogue Rambo Cop, how do we protect our rights?

WE live in a small town that has about 4,300 people and about 5 cops. There is one officer that has gone feral on the people. He stakes out the FOE, eagles club and follows people, pulls them over, asks if they have been drinking. Fair enough, BUT, he's pulling over the designated drivers!! And making some BS statement about the persons driving as a cause to stop. Just a fishing trip. My friends own the other bar in town, and said that business is down, just cause folks dont need the hassle. This officer is also quick with the temper and anything you say to him is deemed "obstruction" or "interfering" with an officer, and regularly arrests folk for this. The charges never stick, but the intimidation is there now, and people have spent the nite in jail, and then the county prosecutor drops it. Please help our town. We're not dirtbags, just a small farming town. And last I checked , the criminals usually do not belong to the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Update:

Thanks, get. at least it saves on paperwork. An *** kicking is some thing I can handle. HaHa. I'm a vet. Thought the cops would treat me better.

this is political in nature. Its is clear this cop does not know small towns. Where everyone knows everyone. I suggest talking to your local politician who can have words with the head cop in town to teach this tough cop a lesson on community politeness.

In this cops position and the way he is acting if there were to be a crime then noone would come forward to give information because they would all have had a bad experience with the policeman at some point.

Small towns need different kinds of policing its about the police knowing the residents and getting along with them. The more tougher they are the less likely information would come forward about crimes and being such a small town then it would never get solved.

This is where the head cop has to teach the bad cop how to behave.

The above poster is NUTS. Los Angeles is the WORST place to get stopped for a DUI or any ticket! OMG you will you will get sucked into the system and NEVER GET OUT. Most people will lose thier car because they cannot afford the towing and storage fees. Then LA sells it and legally steals your money. Then the courts will fine you so much money you will live at the courthouse and spend 10 years paying it back. Los Angeles is a total police state. They are bankrupt because of Left Liberal Nutcase Politicians and illegal immigrants and they will SO ANYTHING to legally steal your money. It's WORSE then NY. Los Angeles has fines for anything and everything and they just passed a law that tickets are now automatically 4x the amount. You are NUTS to say move to LA.

Move to Alaska, Nevada or Florida. The last 3 libertarian states left. In Florida you can refuse the FIRST TIME and FIRST TIME ONLY and will get a mandatory 1 year license suspension in which you get a hardship license after 90 days but the 2nd time is a serious criminal offense and 18 months license suspension.

Move to LA. Your freaking NUTS!
