  • Structural body adhesive over rust?

I'm replacing an outer rocker panel on a full-frame vehicle. I plan on using structural body adhesive to install it. The problem is I cant get the surface of the inner rocker to be perfectly clean. It has pits and rust in those pits that I cant reach. How forgiving are these products in this situation? How far between clamping points? Any other advice on this project would be appreciated also. Thanks!

  • My wife was first chair cello at her high school. For Christmas I would like to get her another cello.?

She needs something to connect to her past. The big issue I have, since I know nothing about cellos,is do I get her a full size cello, or do I get her a 3/4 size that seems to be what high school kids use? I just want to make her happy, and since her birthday is January 1st, she usually gets screwed every year! [B-day and Christmas gets rolled into one!] Thank you to all that can help.

  • 99 Chrysler cirrus, no reverse?

Lazy stepkid got the car stuck last month. Of course its not "his" fault, but it came back with no reverse, and a burnt smell in the trans fluid. Its a 41 te trans. In a 99 cirrus. I have learned enough that destroying the reverse band wont kill a 41 te. But can I still save this tranny with a band adjustment for the reverse gear? All help welcome

  • Police officers and lawers/ obstruction/interfering?

Follow up to my previous question. What qualifies and defines obstruction and/or interfering with an officer? Our local rambo cop calls any question to him as obstructing/interfering and threatens arrest for anything he does not want to hear, ie, a question. You are accused of interfering and threatened with arrest. Please help. I'm not in trouble with the police myself, but I'm seeing this and its wrong.

  • Rogue Rambo Cop, how do we protect our rights?

WE live in a small town that has about 4,300 people and about 5 cops. There is one officer that has gone feral on the people. He stakes out the FOE, eagles club and follows people, pulls them over, asks if they have been drinking. Fair enough, BUT, he's pulling over the designated drivers!! And making some BS statement about the persons driving as a cause to stop. Just a fishing trip. My friends own the other bar in town, and said that business is down, just cause folks dont need the hassle. This officer is also quick with the temper and anything you say to him is deemed "obstruction" or "interfering" with an officer, and regularly arrests folk for this. The charges never stick, but the intimidation is there now, and people have spent the nite in jail, and then the county prosecutor drops it. Please help our town. We're not dirtbags, just a small farming town. And last I checked , the criminals usually do not belong to the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

  • 95 LHS Spark plug problem?

I have a 95 LHS with the 3.5 and am having a problem with plug wear on the right side. The electrodes are wearing quickly. And on the left, there is more signs of detonation, speckling. Is this the knock sensor, are there 2 sensors on this engine? Is there a test for the sensors?

    Thank You

  • 99 dodge stratus, rear disc caliper?

Heard the rear brakes grinding today and went to replace them. The right side was worn to the backing and the left side was pretty good. I've been doing brakes for years, and have seen this before and replaced the caliper. This time it was difficult to seat the piston using the usual tool. It would turn once then get difficult, wait 1 minute and it would be easy again and then same thing. Almost like the fluid was being restricted and then bleeding off slowly. The reason for asking is that I've heard that neon flexible brake lines can collapse in the middle and lock the caliper. Anyone heard of this?

  • 99 cirrus stalling, no start when hot.?

Suspect Crankpos sensor? Also Pcm? Have 2.5 v6 auto. Have extra pcm in wrecked 2000 cirrus w/2.0, swap? Meter does not act fast enough to catch pulses from sensor.
