As to how a partner would react if I did it? Well, I would not date someone who did not have a sense of humor. The Harry Potter fetish would have to be only occasionally though. I think it might get a little overdone if it was every time, though.

For that matter, on the rare occasion that I get a chance to mess around with anyone, it is always with a condom on; I would not be comfortable doing the "money shot" on exposed skin without previous permission (even though that is relatively safe).

But from Hindu to Wiccan/pagan to even some Christian and Jewish sects, there are specific rituals for sex magic or other ceremonial uses for sex. Nearly every religion in the world has some sex magic or ritual, either out in open (Hindu with the tantra or Wiccan with the sacred rite) or in secret. Harry Potter on the other hand is make believe.

1. Just because someone ritualizes the sex act does not mean it is spiritual. Harry Potter is children's fiction. Anyone who uses it as a reference during sex is being humorous.

2. They'd either get the joke or they wouldn't. they could get the joke but not think it was funny. It would really depend on the individual.
