ARGH!! Insects in my monitor!!?
Does anyone know how I can get the little instects out of my LCD monitor?!?! I've tried taking it apart but it's impossible...
They're driving me mad! There's 3 of them all crawling around... Actually I think one has died and it's stuck right in the middle of the screen and it's annoying the hell out of me!

I had a thunder fly inside my LCD screen. I kept the screen off for most of 2 days so I wouldn't fry the critter, but kept the screen pointing to the light - sideways on, so I hoped he would crawl that way.
After 2-3 days, I turned on the screen, and he had stopped crawling, so I GENTLY tapped the top of the screen and the dead fly dropped out of sight. I assume he's still in there somewhere, but I don't see him, and he is slowly turning to dust.

You do need to open it, but don't worry about "liquid inside". If you're confident enough, you can undo the casing until you get to the screen section. Usually, it's like a sandwich with a clear sheet on the top, the lcd in the middle and the back light at the back, all held together in a metal frame.
Be careful, there are lots of thin wires just waiting to be torn.
If you don't feel that confident, take it to a repair place. It shouldn't cost too much.

Do NOT take it apart yourself. You need special tools and specialised knowledge to do so.
Take it to a proper workshop and let them do it. It might cost a couple of bob but at least you wont damage it doing so.

Close the window, don't store dead bodies near you, your smelly, your screen is smelly, don't leave to window open at night while on the pc...... I could go on but no.
