Gran Turismo 5 prologue worth it?

Yes.

I don't believe the game will be released in 2009, but even if it was, that's still a long wait and Prologue offers a lot of entertainment for $30. Plus you get to see great Ferrari cars in a Gran Turismo. And the graphics are incredible.

In my opinion, No. I've been a GT fan foir really long now, but a Prologue is just the beginning. GT5 Prologue in my eyes is a really long demo, or a really short game. You get maybe about 40 cars and I believe 6 tracks, with some challenges and online play...not worth the $40 in my opinion. You should just wait till the real game comes out with over 600 cars, Nascar Mode (ew), Rally Mode, Arcade and the Simulation. I'm waiting on GT5 to.

Oh yes, now it is so cheap even homeless people can afford it, and it is still the best looking racer anywhere, and it just edges forza 3. And also, you will able to transfer the cars to the full gt5 so hello F1 car vs VW golf.

Yes. It is worth it. I bought it a while ago and I'm happy with it. They have just about every car you can think of. It's REALLY fun. Good luck and have fun!

Personally I'm not a fan, but it all matters on how much you love the series, or type of game.
