How can you erase permanent marker off of a volleyball?
It's "sharpie" marker on a volleyball that I want to erase. I think the ball is polyurethane, but not sure. Maybe just rubber.
Already tried goof off, didn't work.
I'll try the hair spray, then the nail polish.
hairspray: failed
nailpolish remover: failed
windex: failed
goof off: failed
clorox bleach pen: failed
I may try that "Greased Lightning" product, but everything else failed.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser.
It's an abrasive, so the shine will come off the place that you "erase" but it should do the trick.

Oh! I know this from experience! Get "Greased Lightening" from a grocery or mass store, like Walmart. Spray it on and rub off. This product removed Sharpie from my carpet, my wood furniture, my refrigerator, and on the wall. Some areas were 6 months old. Some of the stains were on scrubable paint in my children's room that didn't come off with scrubbing.

On a small area try nail polish remover. If it does not damage the small test area this may be your best shot.
The next thing if that doesn't work is a product called Goofoff. It smells bad but works on most stuff.

kicking it around the parking lot for a year or so should do the trick...
