You are confusing Windows 7 RC (Release Candidate) with Windows Internet Explorer version 7.

Windows 7 RC is an OS (Operating System), that will 'run out' in the fall of 09. You will then have to decide to keep it ot delete it. Windows Internet Explorer 7 is a Browser version, (for which IE 8 is now available)

I am running IE 8 under Windows Vista Home Premium.

I'll keep it that way until Windows 7 (OS), releases the first upgrade, and keep my IE browser (8) for now.

Let someone else have the headaches of a new OS.

Internet Explorer 7 Comes preinstalled with Vista...Internet Explorer 8 is out now...and is in the RC of Windows 7...at least in Build 7232...

definite. i desire to propose IE8 although that's plenty greater constructive than IE7 and blows even firefox away. you ought to continually attempt till now you leap right into the firefox that folk attempt to push onto you. FF isn't that great in my view!
