how fast will a honda metropolitan scooter go? Its 49cc and I am about 100 lbs?

    25 up hill, 30-35 on flats, 35-45 on down hills. They are super fun though. Its a scooter but be smart in what you wear(like gloves) 35mph is 35mph on a scooter or a 1000cc sportbike

    I believe by law they're not allowed to go faster than 35 mph. Those small engines will get you there, but not quickly. The real question is: how fast would you really want to go on a scooter?

    A 50 would not be able to move a sidecar effectively.

    you're looking at about 35 mph at WOT...

    my cousin had a kymco zx12, it did 37...but then he held onto my passenger peg, and we wound it up to 70...LOL
