I answer a question and immediately go back to the question?

Yahoo engineers are still working through several glitches that occurred after a recent update to the Yahoo Answers software. The voting isn't working consistently and the thumbs up-thumbs down feature is just behaving wildly.

The reports from the development team were that things were appearing and behaving as if they were back to normal but it appears they were not. I'm really sorry that this may be frustrating. Unfortunately it's quite difficult to explain what the process is as it's quite technical, and to be honest, as a designer, I have a limited knowledge myself.

Hi all,

Just another update, We are aware the voting issue is not working. My comments re: that it's a display issue and that once things move into being resolved as correct still stands. I'm sorry that sometimes I give incorrect information. I'm merely passing on what I've heard from our engineering team. Sometimes they will think things are fixed, run some tests and realise that they aren't quite there yet.

Now, we do have a fix for this issue and we are currently in a process of testing it. Unfortunately it's going to be a little while yet before we can release it. I know that is frustrating to hear but please keep voting as normal and once we release the fix, everything should be all back to normal. I'll give an update closer to the time but for the moment, you'll just have to hold tight.

usually i think it relies upon on the question for the explanation that when I asked a query and it substitute right into a gorgeous handy one and after a pair adult males and ladies replied it, I picked the super respond, and that was once now not even a hour later... So im quite not specific.. in all probability its the catagory its in.. besides the fact that in basic terms a raffle

Same thing happened to me as well. I checked my answer immediately and it had 1 TU and 1 TD. I was a little put out about it and when I checked back later to see if I had more, they were GONE!!!

What can you do? Shrug your shoulders and move onto the next one.

I don't like to do this - but I must - I'm assuming that we have yet another troll in our midst!

Don't lose sleep over this - the kids will be going back to school eventually! They just think they are being funny when they do stupid things like this.

That's happened to me too lately. It happens so fast, it's as though Yahoo is doing it, so the person/persons doing it regularly, can rest their trigger finger for a while. (especially the ones who enjoy passing out the "TD") Another Yahoo glitch? Perhaps!

Isn't it fun? I like to think of it as the robots way of treating us all equal! Like someone said....it's most likely a glitch of some sort in the system or cyber space transmissions. I like it!

I noticed that today too. I have no clue why, but I agree with the person who answered just before me. Ignore them.

It happens to me too.

When I go back later - sometimes they are gone.

Strange stuff goes on all the time.

Maybe one day soon - it will all come out right.

Yep, when those glitches happen just hit your refresh button....sometimes it says...they're taking a break and I hit refresh and it goes through!!
