Christians, Why is it that "Many" of you say that Jesus Christ is Lord ,and stop?

People today are not interested in truth. They prefer a watered down version of truth. The most important requirement for entering into the kingdom of the heavens is____doing the will of the Father [God]___ as Jesus stated in Matthew 7:21.

Apostate Christians [Christians who have abandon true worship] find it difficult to do God's will. They live together before marriage which is totally against God's will, they practice idolatry and many other things that displeases God. Faith alone (believing alone) cannot get one saved since one's works (behavior and beliefs) can cause one to disown God.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. How can they fear someone they do not know? If one was to ask Christendom who is God? The overwhelming response would be Jesus. Even those who claim God is 3 distinct persons would still answer Jesus as though Jesus is all three in one as Pentecostals believe. They do not know God.

If they really believe that Jesus is God, why don't they obey his commandment to preach the literal Kingdom of God, door to door ? Matthew 24:14 - Acts 5:42. Are they afraid of people ? Yes. Don't they have the Holy Spirit ? I guess not.

I would think that it is the fault of the church, too many different congregations within Christianity, even though it should be one common goal. Sometimes progress and tradition clash, when do we let go of tradition for the sake of progress, at the same time when do we, if ever stop progress for the sake of mankind? To prosecute someone for belief in God but not Jesus is blasphemous it seems, when it was God that created Jesus, maybe I missed something but I was always clear that God was never a he or she, that we need a crutch like Jesus in order to enter the gates, sells us humans short. Is it really unfathomable that we can live a humble life without someone to save us?

The bible says: “FEAR God and give him glory"

(Revelation 14:6-7) . . .And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people, 7 saying in a loud voice: “FEAR God and give him glory, because the hour of the judgment by him has arrived, and so worship the One who made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.”

I do not fear that which I know not to be true. Jesus was not the messiah. The Jews are right about that one. If you want to know why ask them the 14 reasons that Jesus was not the "messiah" and learn something.

Therefore, no - I do not fear your God, nor am I supposed to. "God loves you - he's going to kill you*?" Give me a break.

First of all john 17:3 does not say in the Greek "their talking in knowledge of you" This is misleading of the text. you see the Watchtower want you to give full authority to them and this misuse of the text proves it. It should say "that they should know you". your spiritual food is the watchtower and the awake is what you talk in as "knowledge" making the watchtower a prophet. Now you sound like a true Pharisee in Luke 18:1-14 as the Pharisee says "O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity-greedy,dishonest,adulterous-or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and I pay my tithes on my whole income" YOU SHOULD BE MORE LIKE THE TAX COLLECTOR, HE WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK UP BUT BEAT HIS CHEST AND PRAYED ( THIS IS WHAT CATHOLICS DO AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH HOLY MASS) "OH GOD BE MERCIFUL TO ME A SINNER". I KNOW THAT IT'S HARD FOR A JEHOVAH WITNESS TO BE HUMBLE PEOPLE. I know this because I've been the kingdom hall and ALL YOU DO IS COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS, BUT MOST TO CATHOLICS. HE UNDERSTOOD WHAT I MEANT AND HE LEFT AND SAID "WELL YOUR GOING TO HELL" WHAT? I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING I JUST SAY "GOD BLESS" SO DO JW BELEIEVE IN HELL OR NOT? They want an "Image" of God and hope that they can get away with it if they call Jesus God. Then they can picture a face , even if it is wrong. If they read more they would have to face themselves and their lies/sins.

God has given everything to his son Jesus. Jesus has all power from his father. When you worship God, you worship his son. When you worship Jesus, you worship his Father God. They are not one body, but they both are on the same side. I understand what you are saying, but they are not against each other. When you worship one, you glorify the other.
