What would be great for your dog, is a cow knuckle bone, found at your local butcher shop. Its great for their teeth, and probably the best way for them to satisfy their need to teeth. The butcher usually has these, for real cheap, and they vary in size. They dont smell or anything either.

All I can give mine are either black kongs or real cow bones, everything else is destroyed in minutes. We have tried special stuffed toys that are supposed to be made for strong chewers and it took the about 30 seconds to kill the first one.

Those trolls need a life, how pathetic.

I have a 10 year old German Shepherd dog that is also a hard chewer. I have found a little ball that has feet on it, little pointy ears, and a squeaker in the middle that my female Nami will carry around and just chew on it. She also just like to bite it and hear it squeak. I test a ball and it I can't press it in, then it is hard enough that Nami won't destroy it in 15 seconds flat.

Mine is an EXTREME chewer, he destroyed an "indestructible" toy! He absolutely loves a felt braided like thing from the That Doggone Store ( www.doggonestore.com ). It's safer than regular chew ropes because they don't have the little strings. My dog destroys it but it's safe for him.

  • Kongs are great of course. I also have one of those knotted ropes for tug-of-war which has lasted a couple years now (although it is starting to get kind of shredded). The rope itself is about 2inches thick. And for treats I love getting the raw marrow bones from the butcher. These I also will re-fill with peanut butter and freeze them.

For my bullies I use raw beef bones and nylabones. They last a long time and my dogs love to chew them! My dogs don't care for kongs, but those are also good if your dog likes them.

For toys to play with (supervised playing) they like rope toys and kong wabbas (the cloth ones that squeak). They love plush toys, tennis balls, foot balls, and squeaky toys, but they don't last long! Good luck!

Good luck with this quest and when you find one that your dog doesnt destroy let me know. I have a yorkie-mix that could chew through a steel wall. Ha.

    Hello!

I would say a bone. One of the cow bones you can get! It's also good for their teeth which is a bonus if you do not brush your dogs teeth.

    Enjoy!

Ugh... I left a response. This is ridiculous, these people have no lives!!!

LEGIT::::: I would recommend Nylabones, a rope toy, or a kong.

Also, bully sticks are good for hard chewers.

EDIT- thanks for the TDs, trolls.

My gosh that was 3 hours ago and you are still ranting about it.

    Amazing.

As per the chew toy I would go with Tuffys Mega ring.
