Has anyone else been noticing some major mess ups and glitches with the user ratings?
Or is it just my computer?
In the past week or so I've noticed some big problems and glitches with the ratings each user gets for his/her answer.
For example, when I answer a question, it will say I answered it "1 second ago", yet I already have 3 thumbs up and 3 thumbs down. That's not even possible.
Then I refresh the page, and it says 2 - 2.
I refresh again; it goes back to 3 - 3.
I refresh again; its becomes 0 - 0.
And so on... I could refresh over and over if I felt like it, getting a different rating each and every time.
I've seen instances where the ratings have gone something like this...
4-6, 1-2, 2-3, 1-1, 4-6, 2-3, 3-2, 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 5-4, 3-2,..... and so on... and on... and on... perpetually adding and subtracting numbers from both the thumbs up and thumbs down, with no "pattern".
The worst one of all is when the all the thumbs up ratings get transferred to thumbs down (or vice versa). For example...
1-8, 2-8, 2-8, 2-8, 10-0, 2-8, 10-0
or....
9-3, 12-0, 3-9, 9-3, 0-12, 9-3
So then, answers that are fantastically thought out and well written get seemingly "terrible" ratings.
And other answers that come from trolls, bigots, and spammers get fantastic ratings, looking as if they are fully approved by the community.
Only after the screen is refreshed several times might the ratings return to "normal". It's hard to know what's right and what's not anymore... which is upsetting, as I used to look to the ratings rather often.
Is anyone else experiencing these problems?

I have experienced exactly what is happening to you & more. It's the main reason I've answered & voted very little. Believer Wife & Mother posted a question about it as well.
Two of the past three Q's to which I've replied have apparently been deleted, but I noticed that the moment I answered the first two, the thumbs would become -1 & +1. If I refreshed, they became -2, +2 & so on, but everyone else's would change, too! Later on, when I went back to the same questions, it was.. "normal" again.
The last question I answered gave me a thumbs down immediately upon submission. Everyone else who answered had one thumbs down as well. When I tried to give someone else a thumbs up, the thumb appeared green, but had a 0 beside it.
Another odd thing- I came in earlier to vote. Once I voted, it would give me the point (proving I voted) but then, the vote wouldn't count toward the answer percentage-wise. Everything would say 0%. I tried refreshing the page, only to see other percentages change. Or, my vote would go in, and there would be, say, three questions listed as having 67% of the vote.
Strange stuff!

Yeah, I guess it's happening to everyone. Yahoo also messed up the mail system.

AAAHHHH did I just get 5 thumbs down??? Phew, only 4. OH NO! It's 8! Ah... now it's 0-0.

Jim' have you also noticed, if a person ask a simple question in simple words he receives lots of answers.
example....are catholics christians...are there ghosts....I have a pimple on my nose will it go away....see photo..am I good-looking.
Opposite questions asked....is god science.....miracles vs quantum physics, they will receive poor response.
I acknowledge young people have their own thoughts, but are encouraged to blaspheme and rubbish religious ideals, egged on... by same certain individuals.

Yes, YA has been screwing up with that lately.
I imagine they'll manage to fix it sometime in the next year or so.

Yes, alot of us have noticed this. It's been happening for sometime now, shame it doesn't rapture those VNs as well.

Yes, everyone is. I'm sure they'll fix it eventually..just wait it out. You'll get to see your precious rating soon.
