    We have to eat something.

You've taken just about everything off the table with this "what if." As someone who wants to live, yes, I'd still eat them.

All plants and animals talk - in their language, of course. And humans have to live, haven't they? Not long ago - juts a few thousands of years - we used to eat our fellow creatures when hunting was unsuccessful. Now we evolute a little; we just kill them and let worms to do the other job.

It would raise questions in my mind, but self-preservation and the need for food would cause me to find rational justification for eating them. What else would there be besides dairy products?

Most animals do have a verbal communication - not language - but ways of expressing alarm or distress and even contentment. Food is necessary to sustain life - right or wrong - it is a fact of existence that we must kill other living things to eat.

Haha, good question. But I say no because I'm not actually doing the killing. I wouldn't have to hear the cow begging for his life or screaming not to be slaughtered. When I go to the supermarket, it's done already. But if I had to do it myself, I don't know if I would have the heart. I would probably try vegetarianism for a while and see how that would work.

No. I'd eat rocks. Wait, what if rocks could talk? Then we shall eat human, for human is the lesser form of life compared to animals and plants.

    sarcasm intended.
