Why do WWE wrestlers needs steroids to perform?

Nick C, everyone knows that wrestlers fall under the "Paul Pierce" gender and therefore do not have testicles.

A lot of wrestlers spend a hell load of time in the gym, as well as use other supplements and the like in order to get their bodies. However, I don't doubt that some wrestler do take steriods, especially in the olden days of wrestling. Before, there was no real wellness policy, and many wrestlers would live the rock 'n roll style life while injecting themselves with steroids, which is why there have been so many wrestlers dying young. And while steroid use & that terrible lifestyle isn't seen as much these days, it probably still exists, although WWE now has a wellness policy, which has been very much enforced since the death of a wrestler named Eddie Guerrero. So yes, some do, some don't.

Simple answer, they don't. Since the results are scripted and a mouse can destroy a bear in the ring if McMahon wishes it, there is no "need" for the drugs. They are used a enhance the appearance of the wrestler. They get better roles in the play if they look the part.
