With the standing ovation Obama recieved tonight in St. Louis?

Will Cons still continue to labor under the delusion that people don't like him?

Will they ever come to accept the obvious truth that most people like him and what he is doing for this country?

I do not like him but I respect the position he has and if I would have been there I would have clapped for him. Like him or hate him he is the President and respect should be paid to that office

I went to a rally where a small group of people were staged to give a standing ovation and that is the only segment of the entire audience that the cameras panned. The rest were not so obliging. So, why should I believe this one was ligit.

His popularity dropped 5% and people are acting like he is now on the same level as ol GW. If it makes them feel better, let them. A drop was expected when there was such hype in voting for him, people voted when they normally weren't involved in politics, and now, they are back to not being involved in politics. They must also remember that these are surveys, not always reliable, and if they are only projected to certain areas/certain ways, there will be a bias. Also, I just want to point out, that I love how people can predict his entire term by the first six months! Must be great to have that kind of insight. A month into his term people were talking smack. These are the same people who said he didn't have have a birth certificate, that he practiced the muslim religion, that he really had muhammed somewhere in his name, and other crazy, insane rumors. People will believe anything. Me, I'm not judging either way until his term is finished. I'm not sticking up for Obama, I'm just pointing out where people are ignorant. Also, if people would stop taking the story out of context, they wondered if the boos had something to do with politics (Missouri voted McCain--hey thanks for the person who said they were a small cross-section!) or maybe it had something to do with the jacket he wore!

I also heard many boo's out there. didn't you read the story here on Yahoo that even George Bush got a bigger ovation when he at least threw a strike. Obama didn't even get it over the plate.

This small cross-section of society does not indicate America in the slightest.

    Luckily.
