The Vancouver Canucks & The Winter Olympics?

How do you think the 14 game road trip (8 before the Olympics & 6 after) will affect the play of the Canucks this season? Will being away from GM Place for a month and a half have any affect on the team?

    I think it will definitely have an influence on their play. A 14 game stretch away from home will be tiring.

    Hi

    I wouldn't look at as one long trip. They will have plenty of time at home during the Olympic break. Also it was probably a good move by the schedulers as the city will be getting ready for and cleaning up from the party. Two long stretches are tough, but look at the Kings schedule, something like only 3-4 home games in the last month or so of last year. Sorry didn't feel like looking up the exact numbers.

    I think it will have a negative effect on them. They are much much much better at home than on the road..especially that late in the series
