What is the best way to lose weight?
My wife is trying to lose weight but nothing seems to work. She is taking an exercise class and watching what she eats but is only losing a pound a month. Does anyone know of a program, (dietary, exercise, or both) that yields the best results without having to eat Lima Bean Curry or take pills that send you to the bathroom? Thanks in advance.

We will be going to the Whispering Canyon Cafe one day when we are in Disney next month. We plan to go from there to the Chip 'n ' Dale Sign-a-long. Can you drive and park at the sing-a-long or do you need to take a bus? Using Google Earth, I don't see anywhere where you can park unless I'm missing something. Thanks.
2 AnswersOrlando8 years agoIs there a lot to do in downtown disney?
Is downtown disney something to plan spending a day or half a day in or is it something that you can do in a few hours? From what I can see it looks like we can shop eat dinner a do a few activities all in one evening.
7 AnswersOrlando8 years agoNeed a Disney FastPass expert?
I've been researching the FastPass at Disney, it seems simple, yet I have a question that I cannot find the answer to. Let's say there are 5 people in my party, I take their tickets and go get a FastPass at a ride. Now, will all 5 passes have the exact same time on it? Is it possible that some will say 1:10-2:10 and others 1:20-2:20? If so, if we get there at 1:10, will my entire party be allowed in? Is there a way to know how many passes are left at a given ride? I do not want to go & try to obtain 5 passes while a ride only has 2 left.
5 AnswersOrlando8 years agoAre there any Disney Experts out there?
I'm heading to Disney with my family in November and from what I'm hearing, it is a real mad house down there. It seems that everyone is telling me that I need to be there when the park opens, then run to the ride I want to go on the most, then run to the next ride so I wait only 45 minutes on line, while planing on dividing my party up into 2-3 squads with fast past tickets so that we don't have to wait too long for a ride, and then have to worry about making the next ride while on that ride and of course, trying to get to the restaurant to fulfill the reservation that we made 6 months ago to a Thai place that sounded good 6 months ago. I'm worried that it's going to be more of rushing from one place to another and not enjoying anything. Do you have any advise on how to create a game plan on how to tackle the Disney Parks without stressing out and being able to enjoying ourselves? Thanks ahead of time.
7 AnswersOrlando8 years agoWhat's the best way for a child to take liquid medicine that he is refusing?
Our 3 year old has an ear infection and need to take a liquid antibiotic. Every time we give it to him, he refuses and spits it back at us. We even put it in his milk & juice, but he is able to find the medicine in it from the taste and refuses it. Chewables don't work either, any ideas on how we can administer his antibiotic with success?
6 AnswersParenting1 decade agoWhat's the best way to get the attention of a child who is deeply focused?
Our 6 year old has excellent focus when she wants something done. She'll go out and will not stop until the chore at hand is completed. The problem we have is that she is too focus where she tunes out the world. We would have to ask her something 4 or 5 times before we get her attention. We have no problem getting her attention when she is not focused on something, but when she has her mind set on something, she throws a tantrum if she cannot complete it her way. Any advise.

3 AnswersOther - Caribbean1 decade agoGetting rid of the pass, is it worth it?
Our 16 mo old son is attached to his pacifier. He's so attached that he named him "buddy". On a positive note, he only needs buddy when he goes to sleep at night. He doesn't need him during the day nor when taking a nap. And in the morning, he has a little protest, but surrenders buddy an moves on. The big problem is that he losses buddy at night in his crib. He'll get up and need us to find it 4-5 times a night, sometimes more. Is it worth taking the pass away & doing it the so called 3 nights cold turkey? Or will he eventually grow out of it soon? There are nights where he will get up only 2-3 times, but that's is not the norm.
2 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoProblem With Sibling Biting, What Should We Do?
We have a serious problem with biting in our household. It started with my 1 year old son. He's not vocal yet, one way he deals with his frustration is to bit. He'll bit anyone if he's upset, especially my 4 year old daughter. They for the most part get along, unless my daughter wants to be alone. When he bothers her, she pushes, then he bites. The problem now is that my daughter is biting him back and it's turning into her biting him whenever she's frustrated. She gets him really good, leaving big welts on him arm. Have any of you experienced this and what will work to prevent this from continuing? Our pediatrician says it's just a phase. Yeah, it's a phase for my son, but my daughter shouldn't be biting anyone at all.

How do you think the 14 game road trip (8 before the Olympics & 6 after) will affect the play of the Canucks this season? Will being away from GM Place for a month and a half have any affect on the team?

1 AnswerPhiladelphia1 decade agoHow are the Theme Leagues in Fantasy Sports?
I'm looking for feedback on customized theme leagues. For example, having a league where all teams have to have a presidential theme, has there been problems where players don't follow the theme rules? Do they follow them for the most part? If there are 2 division, say one is Dems & the other GOP, are there much complaints if a Republican get assigned to the Dems Division, or do they not care for the most part? The reason why I ask is because I would like to start a theme league and want to know what kind of hassles I'd have to deal with if any at all.
