What is the best way to lose weight?

My wife is trying to lose weight but nothing seems to work. She is taking an exercise class and watching what she eats but is only losing a pound a month. Does anyone know of a program, (dietary, exercise, or both) that yields the best results without having to eat Lima Bean Curry or take pills that send you to the bathroom? Thanks in advance.

    base her diet on lean meats and veggies and if she wants carbs choose wholegrain varieties over white

    don't eat sugar such as cakes, sweets, biscuits, chocolates, pastries

    You simply have to cut the fats and junk food from her diet. What is so hard about that ? You don't have to starve yourself just eat lean. And cut back the wheat products.

    Also do cardio a few times per week for 40-60 minutes to speed up the fat burning process.

    Check foods for their fat content before eating.

    maybe increasing her exercise. The best diet is just the old eating healthy and exercising. Tell her to try zumba, I know people who really enjoy it.
