Why do people ask so many stupid questions on this when they could just Google it?

Especially when the question is just "Who is______?" or "What is _______?" where they could just type the thing into Wikipedia and they'd be done.

Of course ONE could simply "Google" it and find an answer. But I believe it is the human touch or involvement we seek while asking questions, even through the virtual realm.

Humans are social creatures, not just loners who need no communication at all!

If we ask or answer questions of one another here, there forms a feeling of community.

Always has there been a need, desire for community, in all people. Whether it is lesser a need or more.
