I have smelly urine! It smells as though I ate asparagus or something, but I didn't.. Any ideas?

It just started on Sunday, and I'm not sure why.. But it's got a very ammonia smell to it. I am currently suffering from a bad cold, but I haven't started any meds or anything like that.. I'm also not experience any bladder infection/urinary tract infection symptoms.. Any ideas?

Update:

Well, that's what i may have thought.. Except that I drink 2 700 mill bottles of water daily!

    if i were you i would get checked for diabetes similar symptoms.

    best thing is to book an appointment with your nurse or gp and ask for a blood test

    Could very well mean you have an infection or diabetes.
