What are your thoughts about APICS?

I am currently pursuing my CPIM through APICS. Has anyone here gone through this program? If so, how has it impacted your employement/position at your company?

    I'm almost certified - I have a few friends that are and honestly it did not open any doors for them. That said, they are not willing to relocate and their job history is not that strong (in that they have few experiences where one could fully utilize the cert knowledge)
