Have you followed FOX and MSNBC coverage of Obama's comments on the Gates arrest?

I too, have followed the news on this topic with multiple stations. The fact that a president would speak on this topic without knowing any details is absurd. I am a white man and in my youth experienced 3 separate disorderly conduct charges for mouthing off to police. Once in Philadelphia, Denver, and Great Falls, MT. Slowly, I learned my lesson. I should have cooperated and so should have Gates and he would not have been arrested. Obama jumping to such quick conclusions here shows me that he himself is a racist. Racism will never go away if people don't stop screaming "racism" anytime something doesn't go their way. Obama was right when he said "anyone would be angry." Who wants the cops harassing them when they've done nothing wrong? Cooperation is the way to get rid of them. Sure, it's annoying and unpleasant, but cops do have a job to do. I bet Gates would have been pissed if the cops didn't show and his house were truly being burglarized.

I think Obama stuck his foot in his mouth on this one saying that the police "acted stupidly" it only serves to promote his Radical Marxist agenda to divide the people of this nation. There where also African American officers at the scene, so what does that say about them. I also like a previous poster believe it would be a whole different story if someone had been breaking into to the house and the police had of said "Oh, it's just an old lady crying wolf." I wonder what would Prof. Gates have to say about the lack of response to his house being broken into?
