Can Q-Fan be installed on a A8V-X mobo? If so, how?
I have cool n quiet running correctly, but I've noticed that Q-fan is not an option in my BIOS. Is there a way to get it in there so I can enable it? I've looked for a bios update, but that's not working. Any tips?

The only way to get Q-fan is through a BIOS update. Either it is in the BIOS or it isn't. There isn't a download to add it, other than the BIOS update.
Asus website is very busy today for some reason and I can't get to the BIOS update page. I'll try to post a link later.
Edit: Finally got to the Asus site. The BIOS update(s) for that board do NOT contain Q-fan.
So I guess you'll have to live without it.

First off, Cool n Quiet has to do with throttling the processor when not under load. It doesn't have anything to do with fan speed.
Q-Fan2 is in your bios under the hardware monitoring section or something similarly named.
