Sure, I do. I make a lot of bacon though, so I'm always adding to it. I think that is key. I just keep replenishing. I've been doing it for the better part of the last 10 years.

My Mom kept a grease tin, I don't know what happened to it, it is long gone, Dad must have thrown it away.

Mom kept the bacon grease in it, and kept adding to it, but she kept hers in the refrigerator.

Now with the deep fryer and the Crisco, after frying, it was left out to cool, the lid put on, and it was kept in the back of a lower cabinet. For long periods of time.

Yes you can. If you don't use it often though I would recomend keeping it in a cool spot npt on the stove or even in the fridge so it doesn't go rancid.

I have a little metal cup, but this time of year where there are more little bugs and so on flying around it is bestto keep it covered so you don't end with with "extra flavor".

I keep mine in a rinsed out tin can in the refrigerator. I just scoop out the solid grease & give it time to melt in the pan/pot.

I have for years also...but I don't use a can... I use a washed out spaghetti sauce jar (it has a lid)... :)
