I BECOME TOP CONTRIBUTOR?

You don't need to be a certain level, you just need to answer a certain amount of questions each day and get about 15% of those best answer. In ONE category.

I would answer 8-10 questions a day, then check your questions to see if they go into voting (asker didn't choose best answer) and vote for yourself. Again, all answers in the same category.

This should get you about 200+ points a week, if you do that, you'll become a Top Contributor. TC badges are handed out on Monday Morning and they are not permanent.

The top contributor titles has nothing to do with the points you have or what level you are. You have to consistently receive best answers in a specific category. Once you become a top contributor, if you stop answering questions, you'll lose the title.

Yahoo has never actually revealed what needs to be done in order to become a top contributor. This is just my understanding of it.

I think it has something to do with the number of questions you answer in a certain category. Maybe, for example, you have to answer 100+ questions in Computers and Internet and then you are awarded Top Contributor.

firstly wow.... thats a lot of caps..... becoming TC isn't something you need to kill urself over, all it does is give u a little orange box below ur name.... nothing special

i think you need to answer a HELL of alot of questions and get like 10% or more of em as best answers o.O

Some hints to becoming a TC....

use the search function advanced options thing to look for open questions pertaining to a specific anime u like or something you'd be really good at answering.....

also it helps if you can save some of your best answers in a word document so you can quickly re-answer similar questions and get more best answers... DON'T copy other peoples best answers but rather refer to them or point them out in other questions

in this category especially, "help me find new anime/manga that i like" questions are very very very popular so prepare a list, preferably with synopsis's, links, genres etc. for a bunch of anime and manga that you've watched and read... if you haven't watched a lot then wiki the popular ones

To be a Top, doesnt matter points, only the percentual of best answers into a category.

So... u may be a Top at lvl 2 if u do a good job taking best answers...

But it doesnt matter at all. Just enjoy.

There is no set amount of points to become a TC. Yahoo! has not get disclosed the amount you need. It just happens one day.

Holy ****!!!!!!!!!!!! thats the biggest crazy thing I ever seen in here. Some1 want 2 become TC, without answering a single question.
