Advanced Ear Stretching Question?
I need someone who has had experience with this style of plugs:

I think they are beautiful, but wonder if the holes on the sides of the design would cause any adverse reactions to your ears? Maybe the skin would try to tighten and would possible sink or grow into the holes or some such. My ears are relatively large, and I know when I take my plugs out, they tend to tighten up a bit after some time passes- would wearing jewelry like this cause that to happen?
Please only answer if you have experience with this type of plug. No speculation, please! Just real world experience.
Valid point, Kat. I wasn't looking to buy them so much as settle a question I have been wondering for a while. I have seen these designs fairly frequently, and they are nice eye candy, but I was just wondering if anyone had any problems with them- even good quality ones.

You're going to have a difficult time finding people who have these exact same plugs, so really all anyone can offer is opinion and speculation. I found the advertisement for those plugs. My concern is that the material is not specific. It says they are nickel-free black alloy. So what metals *are* they composed of? Aluminum? Surgical steel? Titanium? Personally, I would only wear 100% organic material plugs - glass, stone, wood. I think it would be possible for an unknown alloy to cause an irritation more so than the actual design.
