YouTube Copyright Question?

Would it be considered copyright infringement if I used instrumental tunes from the anime Lucky Star like these:

No, you can use audio for your video as long as you write in your description that you do not own the rights, and name who you used the tunes by and where you found it that way you are giving credit to who owns the tunes.

    Good luck hunni!

Most people cannot seem to grasp the meaning of "copyright". In a

nutshell, it means "What's mine is mine. And what's yours is yours".

As such, "EVERY" song in the world is "copyrighted", and belongs

to any number of people including the composer, lyricist, performer,

and especially the record label -- or whoever owns the music rights.

It's "their" music, and they have the "legal" right to do whatever it is

they want with "their" music, including getting paid for: "distribution

rights", "licensing", "royalties" and the "express written permission"

to use their music according to the terms of the contract signed by

your lawyer(s) and theirs. Without that, you're really "stealing" from

    them.

  • No just give credit to the creator, where you found it and a link to the Original. But later if the creator decides to make his content Commercial then your video will be taken down or have ad's placed on it.
