What are the odds that Michael Schumacher will fail his fitness test?

???

Also, assuming that he does pass, do you think he'll be competitive? (i personally don't think so...)

It will be interesting to see how he does in a few weeks. Until then i am not sure what to say. I am not sure if he will be going for the wins or just doing enough to get constructor's points. We will see soon.

And I really don't think that he will have a problem passing the fitness test.

I'm retired Army. The Army, for me, was doing a bunch of stuff I didn't want to do. This is a new one though.... I'll level a bit here: I had to take a psychiatric test during my teen years. I realized I could defeat the test by giving all of the "right" answers, and I did. If I were still in, I would probably do the same for their stupid spiritual fitness test. The point I am trying to make is the test may help people; but, for those who are annoyed at having to take it, they will find the "right" answers. Checking the blocks has been a long unspoken tradition in the Army. Soldiers do it well. Believe me, I HATE the idea that soldiers are being ordered to take this sort of test, and the rest of it. I am not sure how a Chaplain can change an F into a passing grade. So far as those who "failed," I can only wish them the best, not knowing the specifics. I know it sucks at times, been there and done it. EDIT: Now I am going to look for a spiritual fitness test, I am curious.

Probably pretty slim unless his neck injury from February is a problem. I honestly wouldn't mind if he fails the test and cannot return (and I am a big fan).

I don't think he will be competitive. He has not driven this car, this track and was injured recently. The car is not exactly the fastest on the grid. If Hungary's 2nd place was Kimi was an anomaly, then Schumacher will be battling for 5-8th place points. If their showing in Hungary means they have improved, well, they may still be slower than Mclaren.

His manager advised him to stay retired and I think he should have listened. Got a bad feeling about him returning.

Well, he apparently works out everyday. But how this compares with the rigorous fitness levels that need to be maintained by today's drivers, I'm not sure. He'd better pass or there will be some egg on some faces!

If he does get behind the wheel, I think he'll be competitive in terms of giving it everything he's got. It's in his nature. The car's looking good, but how he handles it is the question. I for one won't be going down the bookies!

Let's put it this way. If I were you, I wouldn't bet against him. Besides, don't you think he and the Ferrari management didn't take that into consideration before making the announcement? He'll pass.

Competitive? In the first go round? Maybe. But my money says that at the least, he'll be respectable. Anyone care to place a wager and contribute to my retirement fund?

Slim - if anybody can get through any fitness test (by whatever means) it's Schumacher. If he wants to race again, he vill race again (we have ways .....).

He will be competitive, but his car may (still) not be.

He's getting on a bit and his fitness levels may be questionalble but you can bet your house on the fact he'll wake Kimi up.

I think he'll probably pass....The interesting part will be that it'll be his first race against Hamilton...Can't wait!

I think if Alonso was racing he'd be more competitive.. they seem to have some unfinished business. But then Renault should put their tyres on properly.

    He's older than Barrichello

He's not in the best car

    He's got a dodgy neck

He hasn't been in an F1 car since April 2008

    He's going to EPIC FAIL!

He will pass the fitness test and win the race.
