Republicans...what is you health care proposal?

You guys keep attacking Obama's plan, but I have yet to hear 1 of your guys' plans. What should we do about the 50 million Americans that don't have health care? what about the 9 million children with out health care? I just want to hear your guys' proposal.

I work VERY hard at the GOOD job that I have. I PAY for my insurance and benefits. Why is it MY responsibility to take care of people that don't work? Get a job. Get benefits. Simple. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure THAT out. BTW.......check to see if your state politician is going to participate in the plan that they are trying to force down our throats. Not a SINGLE one wants any part of it. So...........you tell me..............just how GOOD is this plan?

Medicaid is already covering the poor. About 85% of Americans have health insurance they are satisfied with. Some people can afford insurance, but choose not to buy it. So I like the idea of free clinics for the rest of the people who can't afford health care. Use some of that stimulus money and bail out money for that. It's certainly more important that some of the asinine projects they plan to use it for.

    Simple;

Health insurance would no longer be handled through your employer (they don't pay for your home or car insurance, why health?). Insurance companies would be like privately owned businesses that would be required to take anyone who signed up, regardless of health or age. This way, insurance agencies would be competing for the business of the elderly and the very sick. The competition would cause prices to fall, allowing more people to be covered.

You are choosing not to pay attention because it means you can drink the Kool Aid and parrot the Axis of Idiots' tired mantra...

Insurers can sell health insurance Nationwide - increases competition. lowers rates

Buyer pays for routine office visits

Tort reform to reduce malpractice suits and premiums

    Government "disastrous illness" coverage

    Government covers truly indigent

NO government insurance for illegal aliens

We could insure every person without insurance for $300 billion a year... why spend TRILLIONS?!

1 - We shouldn't force anyone to buy it. A good chunk of the 50m (if you believe that figure) don't buy it.

2 - Cap medical malpractice judgements.

3 - Pay for your own insurance out of pocket if your employer doesn't offer it.

4 - If you can't afford it, get rid of your cell phone, your leased vehicle, cable TV, internet, etc. and either rent a cheaper place or move in with relatives.

I have no plan so does that mean that I have to agree with any plan proposed by anyone on the subject? That seems pretty stupid..

    do you pay any attention?

The House and the Senate congressman have come forth with 2 plans each, both were shot down w/o any voting or reading.

    Pay attention and learn something.
