What happens if I erase the itunes music files on my computer.?
I have no more memory on my computer and am looking for ways to clear up some space. I have itunes, and at least 1 gigabyte of music in mymusic file, of which, probably 1/3 is bought from itunes. What happens if I erase these files? Would I be able to reaccess my itunes purchases directly from itunes? Thanks!

well... I would just buy a small USB flash drive b/c its so little memory... or you could buy an external hard drive and fill it up with more junk. Also erasing music does NOT clear that much space.

No, you can't reaccess them, because if you delete it, well, it's been deleted. You have to have it backed up. But if I were you I'd just leave the iTunes music alone. If you're out of space, you need more than 1Gb of free space for the computer to run correctly and where did the other hundreds of gigabytes go? I think iTunes is not your problem (unless you have a 2GB hard drive... OLD)

better copy all the 1 GB i tunes in to a DVD and then try to erase the itunes from your system. There are many softwares to convert any kind of music files in to itunes format.
