Cat - Fleas - Bitten?

Have you seen your brother's bites - are they definitely fleas?

If they are, it's quite normal for fleas to go for some people and not for others. I think it may be different smells or the skin. What I do know is that as a child, I was the only one in my family who would get bitten by any insects including fleas. My mum used to use calamine lotion to soothe the area of skin where I had been bitten.

If you buy a cat flea comb from the pet shop and comb your cat around the back of the neck, you will see if he has fleas. If there is little black dirt bits in the comb, or a flea, you will know that he has fleas. If you find a flea, put it in a glass of water for an hour and it will drown.

The best product for fleas, which is recommended by the vet, is Frontline. You can buy it at the vet or at bigger pet stores. I know Pets at Home stock it. The other flea products in pet shops do not work, Frontline is the only one that really works. It's great stuff and your brother will have no more bites.

Frontline doesn't seem to be working so well on fleas this year - they seem to have built up resistance to it. You're best off switching to a product name Stronghold to treat your cats fleas, but you will need to get this from a vet.

idk thats crazy, get some Advantage and put it on your cat, it kills fleas, you can buy it at petstores or your vets office.
