I am having Lap Band surgery in 11 days, would like to hear good and bad results after having this surgery?

Thank-you, I am very excited to have this done, it means I will get off all my diabetic drugs !!!

Well I haven't had the surgery, but I have an aunt who did get it. She ended up losing all the weight she needed to lose and she's kept it off for over a year.

I've also heard stories about people who have gotten weight loss surgery just to gain the weight back in the end..

So it could go either way. You just need to stay determined. You need to be able to stick to the diet and not just rely on the pressure the band puts on your stomach.

    Good luck!

We had a man who was going to do the lap band surgery, but someone from our company pulled him aside and asked him to try out weight loss supplements as the last resort before his procedure.

He went on the products and lost 105 pounds, and in turn he cancelled his lap band. The man's name was Danny Sanchez, who resides in Texas now (his story is in spanish though).

I only write this because I heard the lap band was a painful procedure, and I just wanted to open up a possible avenue for you if you ever decided against it in the end.

My business partner made videos of the products, and describes them. I just wanted to share with you.

no, actually, it doesn't mean you will stop being diabetic at all. I have seen so many get the lap band, and nothing changes. The change has to occur in your mind, not your stomach. Until you make the necessary mental changes to change your life, nothing else will change. You cannot rely on a surgical procedure to change the way you think about food, nothing will do that but your mind. I doubt you will listen to me tho, most don't until their procedure fails to change their lives, then they end up in therapy to learn how to change their way of thinking.
