Which authors of the New Testament are said to have been martyred?

And (if you know) how good is the evidence for their martyrdom (what is the source of the information)?

Thanks for your help.

    Paul and Peter.

The key evidence comes only from early Christian writers. Called the Apostolic Fathers. They regularly recorded martyrdoms.

Later, unsubstantiated legends appear after 300AD.
