I really need a help with my computer, i don't know whats wrong with it?

for about 4 months now i guess sometimes my computer will do this thing where whenever i scroll with the mouse it will make everything zoom bigger and smaller. The computer is a dell inspiron 530. and when this problem occurs it wont go to screen saver either. even just when I'm on the desktop and i scroll the icons get bigger and smaller. i thought it might be an overheating problem but the computer is well ventilated and doesn't feel hot. if anyone knows anything about this problem or had it themselves please tell me what you know! and another thing when i try to type when this is happening it just opens up a bunch of random stuff and i can't type

I used to think of it grow to be the prompt modem I had. simply by fact, there would be situations whilst i does not be waiting to do any factor on line, and the shortcut on my computing gadget would say I even have an fantastic Connection. easily, what it meant grow to be, I even have an impressive connection to my prompt modem and the bars, interior the prompt community Connection container, would be all finished and green! The prompt visual reveal unit software would say "you're hook up with the modem, yet no longer linked with internet" or some thing like that. that's surpassed off to me maximum of situations, i do no longer think of you may stay away from it. it consistently comes returned. there's a solid threat, it is not your computers. pass discern!

Your mouse could be set up to zoom instead of scroll. Check your settings in Start>Control panel>Mouse. Assuming its windows XP :-)

Also check your keyboard set up in the same place.
