What to buy a 4 year old that has everything for her birthday?

Hi everyone,

It my partner's daughters birthday at the end of this month she will be turning 4 and we need some ideas of what we can get her.

Basically everything we have said we will get her, she already has, she is spoilt rotten by her mum. Her mum has got her an iPod and Nintendo DSi for her birthday (we think she is far too young for these) and want to get her something more appropriate and fun for her age.

We have suggested a sand and water tray, outdoor toys, art and craft stuff, play camera (she is fantastic at taking photos), play kitchen etc but she has everything already!

She isn't a girly girl, she isn't interested in dress up, or dolls etc but loves art and craft, playing with little figures, dinosaurs, Playdoh, playing outside, being read stories etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have heard of the new Magic Maize/Happy Mais, has anyone tried this yet?

If there is anything new just out that sounds good, maybe she won't have it already or perhaps something that can only be bought in America etc so it will be most likely she won't have it!

Thanks for any help!

Update:

Thanks for the great ideas so far, definately have given us something to think about!

Stellar Meg - luckily she seems to be ok on that front (so far) it's her mum that could do with that present!!

Does she have any Playmobil? If she likes little figures then she should love these. The sets are quite expensive (big sets are about £40-£60) so a lot of people don't seem to want to invest in them but they are really good quality, and kids can have such great games with them. They have sets that aren't too 'girly' such as the circus, the zoo, Noah's Ark, a police station, a hospital, etc. Some of the newest sets are dinosaur themed so she should love those if she's into dinos. There are literally hundreds of products and are for age 4+ so she surely wouldn't already have them all!

As for arts and crafts products, what about an easel? Does she have one of these? You can get the kind with a chalk/whiteboard on one side and a place for paper to paint on on the other, so she can create different types of art. Otherwise, maybe you could make up an arts and craft gift basket? You could get a big box and fill it with lots of different bottles of paints, felt tips, crayons, coloured pencils, pads of paper, chalk, tubes of glitter, scraps of different types of fabric, scissors, glue, sequins, beads ........ basically anything arty you can find! I'm sure she would be excited to look at all the different things in there, and with that kind of thing it doesn't matter if she already has something that is in there as there will be lots of other things, and the things get used up anyway.

my four year old daughter loves art and craft as well, so anything down these lines is also a winner.

She also loves Ben 10 and has just started getting into High School musical.

Her favourite present for her forth birthday was a day out with me to build a bear, where we spent ages in the shop while she picked the bear had it stuffed and looked for an outfit. we followed it up with a trip to the pictures and a meal at Pizza Hut, which is her favourite place to eat.

All the toys she got for her birthday were soon forgotten about but she still remembers the great time we had together that day.

If she has everything all ready then she won't need anything so arrange a fun day out for her doing the stuff she loves.

Failing that buy her an umbrella, for some reason kids love them!

If you should be a beginner pencil picture artist striving to master your art and you're feeling caught at exactly the same average skill level despite hours and hours of training then you definitely require that perfect manual Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery from here https://tr.im/qe38S to help you go forward.

Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery is a detailed manual in the home-study program, really a helpful manual since it is not yet another pencil symbol pulling guide that you commonly see online.

All the other pen picture pulling eBook s and classes that would be discovered online has wonderful completed illustrations with plenty of descriptions with the expectation of you being able to study on such way. However, Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery is a step-by-step guide because is the best and most reliable means of understanding, rather than determining how exactly to pull each part on the basis of the guide accomplished picture.

Get her trust money for her future. The parents can open a trust fund that you can put money into for her future. spoiled 4 year old will not know that they are missing out on more toys.

I have one of these for my kid and I ask everyone (family and adult friends that want to get him something) that they put money into this instead of buying a lame gift that he will forget about in a week anyway. I let the parents of his friends that come to his party's buy a few toys so that he has something to open and play with.

you could try magic sand, it is mouldable when wet yet once removed from water seems dry. Of course you could try some more "boyish" toys if you say she isn't very girly, something like Ben 10 figures or an outdoors toy such as a nerf throwing dart or phlatball, they are popular at the moment.

Truly, there is no comparability absolutely....simply because viewing television depends on the gunky creativeness of a Television set entertainer who's main concerns are budget, ratings and popularity and Hell with theme integrity, or, for that matter, anything creative truly.

Why dont you take her to a to shop and let her pick something for herself. I know its not as personal, but she will be getting something that she likes and she could also surprise you by not wanting very much.

I hadnt a clue what to get my daughter for her 4th birthday last week and took her to toys'r'us and she picked 2 bratz dolls, a packt of Go-gos and a peppa pig magazine coming to a grand total of £14.99!!
