Why is the GOP organizing mobs to disrupt discussion on healthcare reform?

Isn't this the sort of thing the fascists did in Germany in the 20s and 30s? Why aren't these mobs arrested for disorderly conduct?

Update:

I still haven't gotten a good answer. Why is the GOP trying to subvert the democratic process?

No, this is the sort of this the fascists did in Germany:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Dissent is the highest form of patriotism - unless, of course, it questions the far left's agenda or proposed policies - then it becomes "the GOP organizing mobs."

Ever wonder why there really isn't any real "discussion on healthcare reform" going on? Do you really buy into the excuse that it is because the evil GOP is organizing mobs?

They subvert the process because they detest it. They recruit the most naive people in america to believe their lies and promote their false information all the while trying to water down and circumvent the constitution in every way. With any independent information and an open mind anyone can determine this for themselves.

The GOP want a new world order where there is them - the rich - and us - the poor. It is just that simple.

You got that backwards. The Nazis were the ones who arrested people for expressing dissenting opinions about the government. And the GOP is not organizing anything. The people are concerned and trying to make sure their voices are heard in this. We the people don't want our country to become socialist. We don't want the government to rush through the largest bill in history without hearing what we have to say about it. Are you honestly so blind that you would propose arresting people for using their right to free speech and then compare them to fascists? The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

Do you think this is an organized thing? Could it possibly be that most of the Americans are fed up with Obama's spending and their total disregard for the people they are representing? These are real people-I myself would be happy to cause an uproar at one of these meetings but I have never been to one. I can guarantee you that the only thing that prodded me to speak out is the fact that I am sick and tired of this communist wrapped in half-breed clothing. He is sucking this country dry and you liberals are standing back and congratulating him on selling this country down the river. Nice going-last I checked we still have the right to let our representatives know that we are displeased with them and to make them accountable for their actions. I hope you tell your children someday that we used to be great until Obama came along and served a 4 year term.

If you had done your homework, you would know that many people in those "mobs" were Democrats.

I doubt that they would go along with any organizing the GOP tried to put together.

Not necessarily the GOP. The lobbyists for the insurance companies are behind this reprehensible behavior, and they have Dems in their pockets as well as Repubs. Since there have been death threats and assault as well as hanging effigies of senators outside of their office, the open forums will stop. It's disgusting, and yes where were the police - when several people went to the Republican led Senate meeting on health care reform and mentioned single payer as part of the bill to be considered, they were removed by police immediately and one of the Repugs was caught on camera laughing about it and saying they needed more police. disgusting behavior on all sides, all brought on by greed and so-called representatives being in the health care industry's pockets. Lobbyists should be outlawed, it's long past due.

Even IF they were organized, what do you think Obama was doing himself before he ran for president. He was a community organizer. He organized left wing groups in various meetings and they did the exact same thing that happened in these latest town hall meetings. Of course, now that left wing people are getting a taste of their own medicine they are finding it does not taste too good. Also, that is IF these latest outcries are in fact organized, which I highly doubt they are.

They aren't... Stop listening to the likes of Nancy Pelosi and other dems. in office. These are real people with real concerns and quite frankly, I think the congressmen are listening. Of course, unruly behavior is never acceptable and if there was a fight, then action shall and will be taken.

In addition to this... Barack Obama encouraged and even promoted this type of action, non violent, during his campaign and time as a community organizer.
