If you call yourself a Christian, will you be in trouble when Christ returns?

What a soul-searching question. I pray that when Christ returns that he will say to me... enter in thy good and faithful servant. Rather than, I never knew you, ye workers of iniquity. I want to be found worthy of Heaven. The Bible tells us that we have to endure to the end to be saved. I'm a born-again Christian, we do have to follow the teachings of Christ on a daily basis, not just when it's convenient for us.

EVERY man or woman in his/her lifetime disobeys all of these teachings multiple times. That is why praying for forgiveness and forgiving other people for their acts is needed. I'm one who's very open on belief, having many atheist friends. One common misconception they make about me is that because I'm a Christian I think I'm better than them, or even perfect. I'm not and don't claim to be. I know there's atheists that there's atheists probably nicer than me. I only think it's a shame for them they don't believe in God.

Sorry Paul, but when I took Jesus Christ as my saviour, I have been saved and forgiven. I still have to account for how I used my gifts and resources and acted, but the judgement of life and death is not an issue. The Lord will take me to be with him. Not because of who I am, but because of Him. He is honest and true, he promised and I believe His word.

jesus said he was one with God and came down from God not that he was created by God.

God also tells us not to approve of sinful behavior from men.

loving some one does not mean you accept the sinful behavior they do.

We are to warn that such behavior will cause a person to be judged by God.

loving a person does not mean you approve of their sinful life style but warn them about it.

your parents love you but yet let you know if you are doing wrong. They do not approve of bad behavior

I think I will be in trouble.

I am sure I am actually going to hell.

I havent twisted any of the commandments, but I have just totally ignored them and not followed them.

So yeah I consider myself damned.

I pray daily that Christ will do the work in me to make me worthy of Him. It's a tough job but I know He alone can do this. I pray for His judgment on me and it works but like I said, it's tough. Thanks and God Bless. :)

No one is good. If you are truly a Christian, you have nothing to fear. For we have eternal salvation, even though we are still in sin. It is only through God's grace that we are saved. Works will not save us.

All people will have a chance to be forgiven, that is, if Christianity holds true.

That's for Jesus to know and for ME to find out. Its not really anyone else's business seeing that you don't have to pay for my sins.
