It can take 2-3 days for Frontline to distribute itself through the haircoat and start killing fleas, so wait another day or two to see.
Also, if you've had fleas for a while, you may actually be seeing newly hatched fleas from your house and not the original adult fleas that were on your cats. If this is the case, the Frontline will soon kill them, too.
Don't reapply the Frontline Plus - it's too soon. If you think it's really not working, go see your vet and get a recommendation. You may be able to use another veterinary flea product (not one from a pet store). The veterinary flea products are so different from each other that there isn't usually much reaction between products.

NO do not do another application before the 4 weeks are done. These are dangerous pesticides and can permanently damage your cat's liver and, if the toxic dose is too large, kill your cat.
What you're seeing is fleas still in the environment that are going on the cat to eat. Once they bite, then they die. The original fleas on your cat are already dead. You'll be seeing some for a while since eggs hatch and new fleas will go looking for a meal.
The dose does last 4 weeks. Fleas can't die till they bite your cat, so you have no need to put your cat's life in danger by doubling the dose received.

Frontline is now sold by some Chemists - they take personal details about you and animals. Try the other remedies, but also a water trap. 1 cereal bowl filled with water plus a couple of drops of washing-up liquid (to break the surface tension) 1 small table lamb, preferable with a wide'ish brim shade. At night when you go to bed, leave switched on, somewhere like your landing or carpeted area in your bedroom. In the morning - count the drowned fleas! We had an infestation summer 2007 and it took us about a month to get rid of them. Suction cleaner 2 or 3 times a day (1 could see them jumping around in the transparent cylinder), Frontline and space spray around the carpeted areas especially. My indoor cats now wear flea collars, changed every 3 months, just in case we bring fleas or eggs in again on our clothes.

It can take a couple of days for all the fleas to die. No, don't use another flea product on your cats as you'll risk overdosing them. You won't be doing them any favors by "boostering" the Frontline. If you've got lots of live fleas, you may need to flea treat your house as well.

I, personally, will not use Frontline. i use advantage, which works much better.
1) Don't Over dose you cats. wait until next month to give them their preventative.
2) It is called PREVENTATIVE for a reason. you are supposed to use it to prevent. go to the vet for some medication.
3) if you don't have the money for a vets bill, try using a flea comb. those are great until you can go to the vet.
if you go to the vet, the will most likely give you a spray and/or a bath wash. You should also try to get spray for your yard, especially if they are outside cats.

did you put it between the shoulder blades and right on the skin by moving the hair. if not then it wont work correctly and no you can not add just a little more it can harm the cat. next month go to the vet and get andvantage products they work better than frontline (own exsperance)
you can call the vet and ask what else you can do. they will be able to help you by maybe giving you a shampoo you can use

Nope, you'll have to wait for next month. It can take up to a month for the drug to become effective so you'll be seeing fleas for a few more days. The key with that stuff is consistently applying it, then you'll get rid of fleas. It's annoying when you're starting out, but it'll get there. Don't give up.

Get a fine tooth flea comb and go over the cats to get the fleas out and they will gradually be eliminated. If they are out door cats it may be harder to rid them of the fleas.

Natural and safe options for cats with fleas:
How about you try some cedarcide spray on the cats - very safe for the cats, bedding and even yard:
Also, D.E. works great - all natural organic powder:
very low cost, too:
see here: D.Earth ( Diatomaceous Earth - organic powder )

You should stay away from commercial flea products as they contain chemical insecticides that can cause allergies and liver damge to both you and your pet. Try using Target Spray for Fleas instead. Its insect repellent action deters cat fleas from making their home on your cats.
