    Well, "by seeing a face", it's impossible & "by person" is also impossible even if a person is seen with special dress like Monks, Saints, Dervish etc. I would try to draw your attention, please: a real saint never wear something to let him establish as a saint or something like that. And again, a very normal person with one's innocent outlook, might hold the power of a saint. It's easy to identify a Hermit from any religion by hermit's peculiar dress but, uh, how many 'hermits' were under disguise living in normal human-families as ordinary person!

    I don't think so & Nikhilesh, my friend also denies to accept that. Thing is this, in a religious place many kinds & many types of people gather------

    no one can identify a so-called Saint & Normal person indeed. It's possible for a certain person who has the wisdom & knowledge to "know" the exact person. (That's the reason, the very innocent public are been cheated by the so-called 'false-guys' at every religious places---whether a Hindus' temple, a Muslims Mazaar, a Christian's holy place etc. Actually one should/ have to judge the characters as to one's own experiences or wisdom.

    NO ! Infact you can only be fooled by believing that a persons face will tell you anything about that person , never trust the face alone , their words however can give them away , a saint will never do or say anything that seems to be unsaintly , their instinct is going to be always geared toward saintliness , but the smile or frown or scoul is not what the heart is made of . pay no attention to the face it will only fool you .

    yes, but i will not say HOW ?

    HOWEVER when we see THE FACE OF a Saint , WE GET an electric shock which forces us to become a SAINT like HIM.

    AND WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE SEE AN ORDINARY PERSON ,i need not to explain as u can see my face and find out .

    one more thing to point out for all the answerers ;

    only a saint can recognize a saint as these lines of GURUBANI says;

    EVAD UCHHA HOVE KOI , TIS UCHHE KO JANE SOI....!

    means you have no right to comment on the person WHO had achieved the highest position if u are not of HIS level ....!

    The word "normal" is not connoted or denoted in this question. We were not sure then, are not sure now; nor will we ever be sure in the foreseeable future if the word has any real meaning, which is also applicable to the term "saint". Most of the stories about "saints' and "normal" people are no doubt very entertaining, however apocryphal and hence untenable as serious inquiry.
