When a fan is considered a "Die Hard", what does that personally mean to you?

It means that they have always rooted for the same team. They never get ashamed of their team. They watch every game they can no matter how far back the team is in the standings or how bad the team is losing the game. They never give up hope on their team winning.

Pretty much, they stick with their team through the good and the bad, and belive in their team through the good and bad.

I know I'm a die hard fan. I watch every Yankee game during the year when I'm home and I never believe a game is over untill the last out is made. Last year when the Yanks missed the playoffs, I still watched every game and didn't lose hope since they were mathmaticly eliminated. I'm never ashamed of the Yanks no matter how much money they spend or what players they have on the team. And, I've been a fan for as long as I can remember.

I think it means they are truly dedicated to their team * regardless if they are like the nationals, or the pirates, or even the mets (your team), with all the injuries, their fans will stick by them. I mean, it's an exaggerating phrase, because it's really saying - I'm such a big fan, i'll die for them!, but when people say it, i know they are a really big fan of their team.

I am definitly die-hard for the rays, i love them, regardless that before last year, they were at the bottom of the AL East for a good 4-5 years, but i definitly would NOT die for the rays, if you get what im saying, lol.

Well I think what separates a regular fan from a "die hard" is yoru loyalty and how much support you give no matter what. I'm sure all die hard fans of baseball feel like baseball or watching their fav team anyway is a part of their life.. its routine. You go to work you eat dinner then you watch baseball. Its how it is you become encompassed in it and sometimes you don't realize your passion for it. I think that die hards also tend to get a bit obsessive which leads to knowledge of everything including the team's history to the names of the grounds crew's grandkids :P

I consider myself a "die hard" fan although I don't know the names of the grounds crew's grandkids (heck i still have a lot to learn about the history) I'm planning on staying with the team till i die :P The angel loving asians tradition shall continue!

A die hard fan to me is someone who sticks by their team no matter how many injuries they've had. How many franchise players are gone and how bad the team is doing. A good fan would also try to watch as many games as possible, gather a lot of facts about the players and be respectful to other teams playing them.

Yes i do consider myself a die hard fan of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Yes. but do not laugh. I have got some books 1. Geetha, 2. Ramayana, 3, Mahabharathm 4, Heaven right now here itself, 45. The holy bible. 6. First 3 volumes three volumes of satyam sivam sundaram. besides this after pooja and aarthi i feed the birds and sit for meditation keeping all the books by my side. If any body comes with any problem i just take any of those books with closed eyes i open a particular page and run my right hand index finger through the lines and stop some where. then i readout what is written in that particular line and take it as the words from God and in 90 percent of the case it comes true, As for as omen is concerned I stand and have a glass of water, if somebody sneeze, a cat passing through, birds flying from right to left any body in black or white dress. It is superstitious or no I do not force it on any one but follow it myself very religiously. While writing examination I ask students to use green colour pen, and they should dip their finger in any hair oil and put in the nostrils, belly button and top of the head and massage slightly this will increase their memory power. pupils who followed all got A+ grade except 2 of them who took the advice but did not followed.You can get ot confirmed from people who had benefit ted .Krishna and Jesus had given their visions and what ever I said here is true, true true only.

It means they are a Fan of that certain team and sticks with them in all time the good , the bad and even the ugly and just supports their team . They try and learn everything and all if possible about their fav team and their history! They don't jump ship even if their teams moves or they move

Hi Sweetie,A die hard fan is like yourself rooting for your team through the good times and the bad.For me it means keeping tabs on every move they make,watching every game when they have a day game i listen on the radio at work..It's not losing faith i'm so anal when it comes to my yankees.

A diehard fan is somebody who cares for thier team,somebody who would sit down and watch thier team no matter how bad thier are and somebody who attends thier games and will do anything to meet this or that player on the team. a diehard fan is loyal to thier team.
