What to pay sister for providing daycare to my 2 children?

I'm considering going back to work and my sister (kindly) offered to watch my 8 and 10 year old children at my house after school and during the summer break, holiday breaks, etc. The thing is, I have absolutely no idea what to pay her. She is way too nice to give me a price, and I don't want to take advantage of her just because she's family. My kids' school charges $6/hr for 2 kids (I know -screaming deal), but having a loving aunt take care of them would certainly be better for the children. Also, she can get them to dance class, baseball, etc. which can't be done at daycare. Thoughts?

8/hour. I am sure she knows that you cannot pay 10-15 an hour unless you have an awesome paying job. I think 8/hour is a good deal.

you should pay her about $15 an hour or so because she drives them which wastes her gasoline and she might buy them something like a snack in case they get hungry. It isnt too much and not too little and i know that she will appreciate it

Pay her the going rate of $10.00 per hour. If you don't it could be viewed as using her. Also, if you get us to paying $10.00 per hour, it want be difficult if you have to eventually find someone else.

id say maybe ten or 15 dollars and for her to generously do something nice you should return the favor with her payment
