Knitting a jumper- patterns?

Hi,

My sister is an intermediate knitter, She has no printer so I said I would look up some knitting patterns for her and print them. The problem is I have no idea where to start.

Her style is a bit hippyish, she wants something loose with no big collars or cuffs. She would then like to progress to something with a pointy hood.

Any links for websites with free patterns?

Look in the archives at knitty.com, or berrocco.com for something like these. There are a lot of nice, free patterns on the major yarn companies' websites.

Source(s): I have been knitting for 54 years and crocheting for 37.

Here is a link for you . Try the public library also. They usually have a lot of knitting and crochet pattern books. I have found some of my favourite patterns there.

the best place you want is ravelry.com, it has everything you ever need and best part is that is 100% free.

knittingpatterncentral.com is way to restricted and take too long to click each link to see what it looks like and you are not guaranteed to find what you want.
