Since the Bungals dominated NE in a meaningless preseason game, does that mean they're SB bound?
Since NE is considered one of the top teams in the league and the Bungals dominated them last night, does that mean that they're now serious SB contenders?
Obviously several of you MISSED the sarcasm.

Did you check the stats for this preseason game? New England had 7 more first downs and 10 less yards than Cincinnati. That is not being dominated. Also, both teams are STILL making cuts to see who will make the team so it has no impact whatsoever on the season. Their first five games are against Denver, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Baltimore. That's a 1-4 start so NO, they are not Superbowl Bound

I'd hardly call 7-6 dominating, and you said it yourself, it was a meaningless preseason game. Where the starters play for maybe 2-3 series, and then a bunch of nameless backups play for the rest of the game. This is hardly a sign of any Super Bowl contention. Save your predictions until at least week 3 of the regular season, after the Bengals have faced Green Bay and Pittsburgh.

Dominated New England? I'm a Bengals fan and I cannot say that was domination. Don't get me wrong...I enjoyed it, but it was not overwhelming by any standards. And no, they are not serious Super Bowl contenders until they start winning games in the regular season. There's no need for sarcasm.

The starters are only in for 1 quarter and that's when NE scored. The Bengals substitutes beat the Patriots substitutes. That's all. You have to know by now that preseason means nothing.

Of course not. Like you said, it was a "meaningless preseason game". Detroit won all of its preseason games last year, and lost all of it regular season games. But of course the Bengals are a way better team than the Lions.

The colts have been losing in the preseason for years now and it hasn't seemed to stop them in the reg. season.

NO, But man is it awesome to watch the Patriots lose.
I kept rewinding that last sack on Brady like 10 times. He got ran over!

1) they won 7-6 yesterday, not 30-3. that's domination
2) It's the PRESEASON
3) The starters DON'T PLAY in these games, at least, not very long.
4) It means nothing. Cincy will probably go under .500 and NE will go deep in the playoffs

Bungles suck a lot but at least their fans aren't bandwagon like the Steelers fans are
