Swollen and Red in one side of nose.?
In the very back of my nose it is very swollen and red. It has been there for a few months and is getting bigger so much so that it is starting to obstruct my intake of air in that side of my nose. I know I need to go see a Doctor and plan on doing so. But in advance does anyone have an Idea of what this may be? It could be a staph infection from what I have read. Could something like this actually affect your brain from pressure due to the area that it is located. The past few months I have been feeling really weird and my memory is getting worse.

About the pressure - I doubt that it is. If pressure is exerted on the brain you would get an anurism or concussion.
The memory is probably just due to distraction. I know if my nose was swollen shut I wouldn't be able to concentrate or remember very good.
It could be a bad zit, though I doubt it if it has been around for a few months. Ingrown hair can sometimes swell up, and if it blocked enough area could potentially keep getting bigger. It's probably something that the doctor can just lance and drain. Shouldn't take too long to fix...hopefully.
